Today we celebrated Chinese New Year. A lady from the Chinese Arts Centre in Manchester came to visit and took classes in Ribbon dancing, mask making and origami.

The 100 word challenge (100WC)

Some of the children in Y3 have just started taking part in the 100WC. each week there is a writing ‘prompt’ to that you have to include in your piece of writing. For further details have a look at the website (100wc.net)

Christmas Markets

This afternoon the children in KS2 held their Christmas market. Over the last few days the children have been busy making things to sell at the market as part of a unit of work on business enterprise. The children will be deciding what they want to spend the profits on.
