The Last day

img_0609-small.JPG

It’s sad day today, as we’ve had the Year 6 leavers assembly and we are also saying goodbye to two teachers.

Year six entertained the whole school and their parents in the leavers assembly this morning.  We saw pictures of them when they entered nursery aged 4 years old. We also watched and sang along as they did their version of Wanabee by the Spice Girls. I wonder what they’re gonnabee in the future?

It is not just Year Six who are leaving today! Two teachers, Miss Jones and Miss Shears are also moving onto new schools and new challenges in September.  We wish them both the best of luck in the future. I’m sure the school will seem strange without them in September!

We are also saying a fond farewell to Mrs Cooper who has been a dinner lady at The Deans for the past eight years.
