Over the last two days Year 5 have been busy using both textiles and clay. On Monday we spent time designing an individual piece of bunting with pictures and symbols on it to show the things which made us unique. We then created this piece of bunting using different materials. These will be all sewn together during half term and displayed in the classroom.
Today we have spent time designing and creating characters out of clay which linked in with our Hinduism topic. Head over to the Year 5 blog to see more photos!
My favourite activity was the bunting but I still really enjoyed making our own Hindu gods and goddesses out of clay. My goddess was called Ziznu and she was the sister to lord Vishnu. My bunting is the bunting with a yellow felt star and full of silver glitter with also a microphone . I enjoyed the bunting and the clay!
