Ancient Egypt Day in Year 3

Today has been Ancient Egypt day in Year 3. We have made mummies, shabti’s, jewelry, tasted food, drank wine and danced. ย What a day!! To see more photos have a look at the Year 3 blog.

  3. Wow that sounds like a great day.Did you all have fun?I did when it was our Egyptian day.That is an amazing description Dean.I will ask my my Mum if I can make some Egyptian flat bread one day.It sounds like a quick and easy recipe to make.All thanks to Deans and Mrs Morris.

  4. Ancient Egyptian day was absolutely fantastic, we made mummies, bracelets and we also did word searches, crosswords and we coulored in some pictures. In the after noon we tasted some Egyptian foods. We tasted dates,honey cakes, pomegranate, dates with honey on and Egyptian flatbread. These are the ingredients you need to make Egyptian flatbread: whole meal flour, plain flour, salt and a jug full of warm water. Then you put it in the oven for quite a while. When you have done that you will be ready to taste it.

    PS.make sure you don’t let it burn or else …
