Today Eureka! came to the school and delivered a Science show to children in the Nursery and Reception classes, Years 1 and 2. It was called Splash! and was all about water.
We learnt about the water cycle, sang songs, played a game show and experimented with liquids, including giant bubbles!!!
On Thursday Mr Cross from Manchester University came into school to deliver a lesson all about pushes and pulls for Year 1 and Year 2. We had lots of fun with air rockets and a game of tug of war! Thank you Mr Cross!
Years 1 & 2 have been working extremely hard outside the classroom and have finally turned this…
We are growing a variety of vegetables including cabbages, radishes, onions and lettuce.
To end our exciting week each class had a fabulous ‘Kitchen Sink’ show from MAGNA, showing some interesting and baffling Science experiments that can be done with everyday kitchen items
MMU brought a variety of activities for our Early Years and Key Stage 1 children to try, including some wonderful, blue, gooey mixture, and a digital microscope.
