Extreme Reading competition!

On the last day of term we launched our ‘Extreme Reading’ competition! To take part just take a photograph of yourself reading in an extreme place. You could be skiing and reading, cycling and reading or even swimming and reading. You could climb a tree and read or visit a famous landmark and read. Try and think of the most unusual place that you can and then take a photograph of yourself reading there.  During assembly on Friday the children were shown a video of some children in another school doing some extreme reading, so they may already have some ideas!

Photographs can be emailed to extremereading@thedeansprimary.co.uk

or you can bring a pen drive in with the images saved on it or even just bring in a printed out photograph.

The last day for entries will be Tuesday 6th May and you can start submitting from today. You can send in as many photographs as you wish, the more you send the more chances you will have to win.

Staff will be taking part too so if any parents wish to enter then please send your extreme reading shots in!

All children that enter will receive a small prize. Winners will be selected from five groups; Nursery and Reception, Year 1&2, Year 3&4, Year 5&6, Staff and Parents. They will receive a prize.

We hope to get lots of entries! Have fun but remember; be safe and always check with an adult before you choose your extreme reading spot!

Good luck and keep reading!
