Strictly Come Dancing

This morning Michael and Sallyrose came into school and gave a demonstration of some ballroom and latin dancing. They train at Swinton Palais and take part in competitions all over the country. They are currently The All England Ballroom & Latin Champions. The dancing they demonstrated was fantastic and it showed the children what is possible if you train hard and are dedicated!

Poetry with Andy Tooze

Today we had a visit from poet, Andy Tooze.  He visited all the classrooms to share some of his poems with us and the children from Year 2 to Year 6 all wrote their own poems.  To finish off the day we had an assembly where we all listened to some of the poems that had been written.
